Item Detail
- Material - solid core Poly shutter material made from an advanced blend of thermoplastics and wood pulp providing the ultimate combination of insulation and durability. Guaranteed to last a lifetime.
- Peace of mind ordering process - You will be emailed a drawing of your bypass sliding shutter prior to production so you can confirm all of your sizes and specifications.
- The size entered will be the finished frame size of the shutter from outside frame edge to outside frame edge. Proper additions or subtractions must be made prior to entering sizes.
- Closed Bypass - Frame protrudes out off wall 5 1/2". Louvers must be closed when sliding panels over the other.
- Open Bypass - Frame protrudes out off wall 7 13/16". Louvers can remain in the open position when sliding panels over the other.
- There will be a gap of approximately 1/2" off floor for panel clearance.
- Make sure to check for obstructions such as handle for clearance. Please refer to how to measure page for diagram.
- Overlap:
- Mount on existing trim- Enter the width of the trim as the width of your shutter. This will be finished width of your shutter frame. You may add a slight overlap of 1/8" per side if you want your frame be a little larger than your trim. Measure the exact height of the trim around the door. Add 11/2" to the height for proper overlap. Enter this size as your height, this will be the finished total height of your shutter including proper overlap for the fascia on top to cover the mounting brackets. Fascia will come 3/8" longer on the sides to account for the thickness of the trim and go back to the wall. If your trim is slightly less than 3/8" you can trim to fit.
- Mount on wall no existing trim- Measure the exact width of the opening around the door. Add 2 1/2" per side (total of 5") to that size for proper overlap. Enter that size INCLUDING the overlap as your width. This will be finished width of your shutter frame. Measure the exact height of the trim around the door. Add 4" to the height for proper overlap. Enter this size as your height, this will be the finished total height of your shutter including proper overlap for the fascia on top to cover the mounting brackets.

- Invisible tilt feature will be split approximately on center for all shutters 48" and taller.
- Divider rail required on all shutters over 72" tall. Located on center but may vary, Number of louvers above and below divider rail may not be equal depending on louver count.
