The window is a circle. The width and the height must be the same. There will be no hinges on any shutters less than 36" wide. The panel will attach to the frame with recessed magnets or buttons with catches. The minimum size for circle shutter with horizontal louvers is 18". Any shutter over 36" wide will come with 2 panels that will be hinged to a vertical support called a T post at the center. The hinge color will be factory default color unless requested. The panels will open towards the center. Any shutter 36" or less will come with traditional tilt rod. Any shutter greater than 36" will have the option for traditional and invisible tilt rods. Larger sizes are available, please contact customer service. We will email you a drawing to approve all sizes prior to production.

When ordering an outside mount shutter you need to add overlap to your window opening to mount your shutter. For the Beaded L Frame the recommended overlap is 2" per side. Example if your opening is 30" W x 40" H we recommend ordering your shutter 34" W x 44" H. Do not add overlap to the bottom if you have a window sill that your shutter will rest on.

When ordering an inside mount shutter you need to take a deduction to allow your shutter to fit inside your opening. We suggest 1/4" minimum for proper clearance. You must include this deduction in the width & height you order your shutter at. Example if your opening is 30" W x 40" H you would need to order no larger than 29 3/4" W x 39 3/4" H. More of a deduction may be needed depending on the squareness of your window.

Item Detail

  • Material - solid core Poly shutter material made from an advanced blend of thermoplastics and wood pulp providing the ultimate combination of insulation and durability. Guaranteed to last a lifetime.
  • The size entered will be the finished frame size of the shutter from outside frame edge to outside frame edge. Proper additions or subtractions must be made prior to entering sizes.
  • The width and height must be the same. If the height entered does not equal the width the height will be changed to equal the width and the price will be adjusted accordingly.
  • Peace of mind ordering process - You will be emailed a drawing of your shaped shutter prior to production so you can confirm all of your sizes and specifications.
  • All shaped shutter frames will be made as a solid frame not with an insert section.
  • Single panel shutters will be held to the frame with magnets or catches. L frame panels will be held by catches and Decorative frames will be held by magnets.
  • Overlap:
  • For outside mount shutters you need to add to your window opening size the proper overlap so the shutter goes past your window opening.

If you are choosing a natural wood such as bamboo, you must accept that no two bamboo pieces are alike and they will vary. Since our Bamboo Shades are made from real bamboo wood their color and pattern can vary a great deal from a sample to the actual shade that you order. The color can vary from a mild greenish tint to a more natural brown color. The sample should be used to only get an idea of the string/ladder placement and a general feel for the products pattern.
